On October 9,
1998, Maddee was shot with an arrow by a sorry excuse for a human
being.
Thanks to the wonderful
care provided by her veterinarian and the University
of Illinois
Veterinary Medicine Hospital doctors, students and staff, Maddee is
alive and well.
The following are
pictures of her recovery.

The arrow went
in high on the right and exited low on the left. It missed
all the vital organs including her heart, lungs and spine.
She is a very lucky girl. This picture was taken Monday
morning.
