Now that I am a published author, everyone tells me that I need to have a website. So here it is. (I must say, it is intimidating to create a website about myself -- who would possibly want to read it? What have I published? Well, Gregor Matloff, C Bangs and I are the authors of "Living Off the Land in Space" (Copernicus), a book about how to explore the solar system using the natural resources available in space. Greg and I also wrote an article for the November 2006 issue of Analog Magazine titled, "The Interstellar Conspiracy." And with Giovanni Vulpetti, we just completed our first draft of "The Solar Sail Handbook," which will be published sometime next year. Since I love my day job, I'd better tell you what that is -- I manage the Science Programs and Projects Office at NASA's George C. Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Yes, I love my job! |
