Welcome, Here are some stories I have recieved through the mail. They touched a place in my heart, I hope they do in yours to. I hope that the people who wrote these stories are not offended ,as most were to be past on any way .
The surgeon sat beside the boy's bed; the boy's
parents sat across from him.
"Tomorrow morning," the surgeon began, "I'll open
up your heart..."
"You'll find Jesus there," the boy interrupted.
The surgeon looked up, annoyed. "I'll cut your
heart
open," he continued, "to see how much damage has
been done..."
"But when you open up my heart, you'll find
Jesus in there.
The surgeon looked to the parents, who sat
quietly.
"When I see how much damage has been done, I'll
sew your heart and
chest
back up and I'll plan what to do next."
"But you'll find Jesus in my heart. The Bible
says He lives there.
The hymns all say He lives there. You'll find
Him in my heart."
The surgeon had had enough. "I'll tell you what
I'll find in your
heart.
I'll find damaged muscle, low blood supply, and
weakened vessels.
And I'll find out if I can make you well."
"You'll find Jesus there too. He lives there."
The surgeon left.
The surgeon sat in his office, recording his
notes from the surgery,
"...damaged aorta, damaged pulmonary vein,
widespread muscle degeneration.
No hope for transplant, no hope for cure.
Therapy:
painkillers and bedrest. Prognosis:," here he
paused, "death within one year."
He stopped the recorder, but there was more to be said.
"Why?" he asked aloud. "Why did You do this?
You've put him here; You've put him in this pain;
and You've cursed him to an early death. Why?"
The Lord answered and said, "The boy, My lamb,
was not meant for your flock for long, for he is a part
of My flock, and will forever be. Here, in My flock,
he will feel no pain, and will be comforted as
you cannot imagine. His parents will one day
join him here, and they will know peace,
and My flock will continue to grow."
The surgeon's tears were hot, but his anger was
hotter. "You created that boy, and You created
that heart. He'll be dead in months. Why?"
The Lord answered, "The boy, My lamb, shall
return to My flock, for he has done his duty:
I did not put
My lamb with your flock to lose him,
but to retrieve another lost lamb."
The surgeon wept.
The surgeon sat beside the boy's bed; the boy's
parents sat across from him.
The boy awoke and whispered, "Did you cut open my heart??"
"Yes," said the surgeon.
"What did you find?" asked the boy.
"I found Jesus there," said the surgeon.
May today there be peace within
May you trust your highest power that
you are exactly where you
are meant to be....
May you not forget the infinite
possibilities that are born of faith
May you use those gifts that you have
received, and pass on the love
that has been given to you....
May you be content knowing you are a
child of God....
Let this presence settle into our
bones, and allow your soul the
freedom to sing, dance, and to bask
in the sun....
It is there for each and every one of you.....
MY WISH FOR YOU
Where there is pain, I wish you peace and
mercy.
Where there is self-doubting, I wish you a
renewed
confidence in your ability to work through
it.
Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I
wish you
understanding,patience, and renewed strength.
Where there is fear, I wish you love, and
courage.

Maybe God wanted us to meet the wrong people
before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet
the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that
gift. Maybe when the door of happiness closes,another opens,
but often times we look so long at theclosed door that we
don't see the one which has been opened for us.
Maybe the best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a
porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away
feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.
Maybe it is true that we don't know what we have got until we
lose it, butit is also true that we don't know what we have been
missing until it arrives. Giving someone all your love
is never an assurance that they will love you back. Don't
expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their
heart; but if it does not, be content it grew in yours.
It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to
like someone, and a day to love someone, but it
takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don't go for looks;
they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile because it
takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the
one that makes your heart smile. There are moments in life when
you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them
from your dreams and hug them for real.
Dream what you want to dream; go where you want
to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one
life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.
May you have enough happiness to make you sweet,enough trials
to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope
to make you happy.
Always put yourself in others' shoes. If you feel that it
hurts you, it probably hurts the other person, too.
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best
of everything; they just make the most of everything that
comes along their way. Happiness lies for those who cry,
those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried,
for only they can appreciate the importance of people who
have touched their lives.
Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear.
The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you
can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures
and heartaches. When you were born, you were crying and everyone
around you was smiling. Live your life so that
when you die, you are the one who is smiling and everyone
around you is crying.
