Western-Acres  History
Western-Acres  is   a  75-acre  farm  in  Texas,
north   of  Paradise,  south  of   Sunset,
east  of  Chico,  and  west  of  Ponder.
Part of the Western-Acres Farm one Rare snowy day in Texas.
Our  farm  has  been  in  the  family  for  over  100  years. Visitors can  see  a log  barn  built  around  the  turn  of  the  century.  A  picture  of  the  barn  and its  unusual  story  can  be  found  HERE.
Western-Acres  has  been  toured  by  people  from 8 different  countries  and  the  United  States.  Visitors  from  Egypt,  Australia,  England,  Germany,  Slovakia,  Brazil, Japan,  and Mexico have  enjoyed  a  tour  of  our farm.
Semen collected from our buck is  approved by Texas Department of Agriculture for export.
We stopped showing at the national level after 2000.  We have left these records and pictures in the web sight, so you can see daughters of the bucks with seemen for sell.
We have shown some on a local level, but the majority of the old does have passed on.  Rosemary died in 2004.
