About the Armold Family Reunion 2000 (AFR2000)
Somewhere in our memory banks are the moments in time that shaped us forever. Some of those moments began in Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Oklahoma with the birth of Granddad David S. Armold on March 10, 1865 in York County, Pennsylvania; his life as a young farmer and carpenter in Kahoka, Missouri; his marriage to Cora Belle McKee Armold on October 2, 1890 in Kahoka; their in January, 1894, to the Indian Territory (Oklahoma) where they reared their children on a farm near Union City; and later moved to El Reno where they were described by historians as "pillars in the First Presbyterian Church."
At AFR2000, we will celebrate the 135th anniversary of the birthday of Granddad David S. Armold and share with future students and scholars by contributing to the Edna May Armold Archives Room at the El Reno Carnegie Library.
AFR 2000 Benefit
Tax-deductible contributions may be made now to benefit the El Reno Carnegie Library for the Edna May Armold Archives Room.
