The iris, Oriental poppies, yarrow, pinks, sweet william, daisies, columbine, peony, blanketflower and yellow daylily are in bloom.  Roses from Sherando Roses have just finished their spring flowering.
In the vegetable garden tomatoes, peppers, red sail lettuce, carrots, cucumber, squash and zucchini are planted. We have been eating lettuce and onions for several weeks.
