This spring marks 11 years of outstanding experiences at Carolee’s
Herb Farm in Blackford County! It is hard to believe that number of years
has passed since we moved 80,000 plants, and the rest of the farm’s necessities
to the rolling fields near Hartford City from Owen County, down in southern
Indiana. We have come to cherish this land, the community, and the people
who have not only become customers, but good friends through the passing
years.
We’ve turned an empty field into one of the Midwest’s most visited herbal centers, dozens of display gardens, and a unique plant source. But, we couldn’t have done it without the help and support of a wonderful group of people that continue to visit each growing season, bringing their relatives and friends.
It is only by the love each of you has for our commitment to chemical-free
growing, the continued quest for tough, reliable plants, and the true friendships
that have grown over the years, that we have been able to continue. We
can’t thank you enough. Your words of encouragement, and your smiles, are
what have kept us going, and growing, despite economic downturns and big-box
competition.
