An excellent Christian-based introduction to the political process and the
basics of state government held at the State Capitol in Little Rock. A one
day course for 8-12 year olds, and a 4-day course for 13-18 year olds.
Curriculum includes the legislative process, prayer walking, mock legislatures,
and the role of Christians in politics.

2007 Arkansas Archeology Month
Various sites throughout state
Arkansas Archeology Month is an annual celebration to commemorate Arkansas's
cultural heritage as revealed through archeology. Exhibits, lectures,
demonstrations, and other activities are scheduled throughout the state at
museums, historic sites, state parks, libraries, and colleges to celebrate this
special week. Look for a schedule of events to be posted at the website listed
below or pick one up at many of the above locations.

2005 Arkansas Home School Convention
Harding University

This is the convention sponsored by Education Alliance. There will be
an Exhibit Hall with over 50 vendors, General Sessions with keynote speakers,
College Fair, Banquet, Graduation Ceremony, workshops (covering topics from
beginning homeschooling to prep for college, and plenty of topics in between)
and a used curriculum fair.
Cost: Register by April 29th is $10 per family otherwise $15 per family
Banquet: $14 per adult, $7 per child 12 and under
Graduation: $55 per graduate
