Lord of Life Lutheran
	Lord of Life Lutheran Church is located 15 miles south of Houston. Take Hwy 45 south and take Friendswood exit F.M.2351 west approximately 1 1/2 miles. The church is located on the south side of the highway.

The name "Lord of Life" is a very fitting name for a church. Our Lord is Jesus Christ. He is the Creator of the universe, we are his creatures. We owe him our service and obedience. But Jesus is also our Savior. He lived and died in this world to rescue us from the punishment of sin we all deserve. Since God is holy and perfect, he demands holiness and perfection from those He created. Since we are sinful and imperfect and cannot ever hope to live perfectly, we merit God's worst punishment which is an eternity in hell. But Jesus lived that perfect life for us. He died the punishment for our sin when He died on the cross. Through what He did, God the Father declares us innocent of sin. Because of Jesus we don't have to fear death. Instead, we now look forward to an eternal life in heaven.

Jesus is the Lord of Life for all people. In Him we can be certain of eternal life. With Him we can face all situations of this earthly life of ours and be certain that all things will work for our good. Life is good with Jesus, our Lord and our Savior. It is a life that continues forever.
