Hi my name is Austin Tyler and I'm an Allstar Slugger! I love playing and watching baseball with my daddy Ryan. I have a younger brother Camden and when he gets bigger he can play to. I started watching games with my Dad when I was just a baby.
My favorite team is the Boston Red Sox. My Dad and I are Big time Red Sox fans.
I went to my first Baseball game at Fenway park in Boston last summer of 2001 when I was 2 years old. I saw the "Big Green Monster". I went with my Daddy and Mommy and my Grampie Janvrin and my Uncle Mikey. Camden couldn't go he stayed with Grammie cause he was to small.
Here's a picture of Fenway and the "Green Monster"
1912 Fenway Park Opens. Built on his own land in the Fenway section of Boston, John Taylor, moved his Boston Red Sox from the Huntington Avenue Grounds, which they leased, to Fenway Park in 1912. The new stadium was built specifically for the Red Sox.
April 20, 1912: Fenway Park officially opens. After two rainouts, the Red Sox defeat the New York Highlanders (now the New York Yankees) 7-6 in 11 innings in the first professional baseball game played at Fenway Park. The first game ever played at Fenway Park actually occurred on April 9, when the Red Sox beat Harvard University, 2-0.
Here are some Boston Red Socks facts:
