Babs & Maddie's Page
. . . and Frankie, too!
Hello! I'm Maddie. I'm a beautiful grey & cream tiger cat. I'm very excited about having my very own webpage, even if I do have to share it with Babs! Dad & Mom have been living with me for 6 years. The upstart, Babs, moved in shortly after that, and I haven't had much peace since. Before that infamous day, I had my own room and my own toys and my own humans. Now, Dad & Mom think I should share. Hmph! Well, I have been teaching Babs how to endear herself to Dad & Mom -- like jumping up on the diningroom table and the kitchen countertop! Most of the time, however, I just relax in my favorite spot (under the guest bed -- don't tell Babs!), and protect my home from any unwanted intrusions.
Hi! I'm Babs. I'm a tortoiseshell. That means that I'm mainly black with splotches and specks of cream and orange. I like living with Dad & Mom. They give me lots of treats, and they understand that they must pet me ONLY when I give them permission to do so. Because I'm so dark colored Mom kept stepping on me (her eyes aren't as good as mine), so they made me wear a collar with a bell. I didn't like the bell. It gave Maddie too much warning when I tried to sneak up on her. Finally, Mom took the bell away, so now I can sneak up on Maddie!! Yeah! This attack cat is back in action!!!!
Hola! I'm the new kid on the block! My name is Frankie. In this photograph, I'm with my cousin Sebastian, who's a German Shephard. I'm a chihuahua, and I came to live with Mom, Dad, and the brats -- I mean, cats -- in 2000. The girls don't like me much, but that's ok. I play with them anyway. My favorite thing to do is play with Dad (he likes to pretend that he doesn't like animals, but he likes me!!).

The Fish
Babs & I loved to watch the fish when we first moved in with Dad & Mom. Now that we know that we don't get to eat them and that they don't want to play with us, we pretty much leave them alone. If Dad didn't like them so much, we wouldn't even mention them, but to keep Dad happy, we must. The fish population declined rapidly when the guppies became fish bait for their aquatic neighbors (NOT us cats). So, Dad has purchased some more fish. (We don't know their names because, well, they're fish, and we're cats . . . why should we lower ourselves to talk to them?)
