CABIN ON TULALIP BAY

Our new cabin is located on the Tulalip Tribes Reservation which is west of Marysville Washington. It is located about 8 miles from Mark's school and 30 miles from our house in Seattle. We do not have to travel by ferryboat to get there which is a definite plus. Tulalip is an interesting community: a mixture of vacation homes, year round homes and the Native American community. To find out more about the Tulalip people and their land, see the Tulalip Natural Resources site and Tulalip Bay

The first view we have of Tulalip Bay comes as we climb over the hill leading from Marine Drive and drop down 65th Ave NW toward Tulalip Bay.

Our cabin is seen through the mist just back from the end of the dock.

The cabin is a wonderful place for family get togethers or entertaining

Tulalip is a fishing community. Seiners can be found in the marina and working in the bay during most of the year. Several old boats can be found hauled up on the beach like this one.
