My experience in the USMC was one of the greatest things that I have been a part of. I would do it again if I had too. |

I never realized how emotional a bunch of women could get about receiving the emblem, but it was such a feeling of great magnitude, that I have yet to experience it in my life again. |

What a great group of people, OK Top Mike scared the living daylights out of me. The band people are in a league of their own. I think my experience at SOM was made even better because of the mixture of Marines, Navy and Army

Battallion Admin, what a place to be posted. I assumed my life was over when I started. (me, sit behind a desk, tragic) But GySgt Mullins showed me the way and I was able to take night classes, play sports and do things a lot of Marines do not get the opportunity to do because of job restraints. Go Admin. Actually I learned so much and was able to get to know everyone in our Battalion, that I thought I had one of the best jobs. Dec. 1990-April 1991 SWA
What can I say about the gulf war?? Thank you Sgt. Mace for keeping me sane, and providing the kind of guidence leadership we needed and being our mother hen. To all the reservists that were thrown together with us, We did a fine job of operating our unit. I would have any of you in my fighting hole, I don't know if you could hit the broad side of a bus, but I would trust my life with you. |
