This is my Sportster.
It was a long time
coming for me. When my sons were young I had to learn how to dirt
bike ride in order to do things with them. I used to ride on the
back of different people's bikes, but as I got older my mortality became
a realization. The fact that most of my friends were in no shape
to ride alone never mind with a passenger was also a realization.
I waited for 22 years. I got my Sportster.
I am 4' 11" tall.
Most of my friends told me that I would not be able to ride because no
bike could be modified enough for me to reach the ground. I was determined.
I bought the bike and worried about lowering it later.

I do what I can
as far as repairs, general maintenance, and modifications myself.
I figure when I ride there is no one around to help, so I need to know
my bike to fix it when I break down. And I always break down.
