My Awards
I wish to thank those who have honored me with these
awards. They are displayed in the order received.
Each award is unique and each award
means something special to me. Be sure to visit
these exciting homepages!
(It may take 15 to 20 seconds for page to
load.)
My first award! When I started my web site in October
of 1997 I was new to
cyberspace.
This is an unusual "award" for it is neither an award
nor a site award
but a new graphic which was dedicated to me for having served
in the United States Navy Nurse Corps. I am honored to be the
recipient of the dedication of this meaningful graphic. Thank
you,
George! You may not apply for this, but you may view this
graphic along with his other military and patriotic graphics at
George Crofton's web site. George also sent me the medals and
bar divider on my patriotic site.
Sherry gives only twenty awards per month for
dedication and hard work in preserving family heritage. Her hard
work and dedication is evident!
At home with Annabella is a great place to be. You
will be drawn to her lovely use of color and her floral display
is so sweet you are enveloped with would-be aroma. She gives a
helping hand in many pretty ways.
Surely a home away from home, with floral borders that
bloom into your heart. A perpetual garden that blooms anew week
after week.
If you like philosophy, you will love this web site!
Lady Socrates has the answers. I am indebted for her input. She
is gracious in assisting with help if she has the time, but she
is a very busy young lady. Don't miss her page on
"Leadership"! Her award for home page creativity is awarded for
the creative compositional talent of the writer. If your home
page was a lot of work you will be proud to display her
award.
Sharon's Special TeaSip Award is next in my list of
favorite awards. Sharon was an accountant by profession but
there is no accounting the fact that hers is the place to "feel
the magic". You are bound to find something in common with this
writer--whether animals, genealogy, music, graphics, books, or
inspiration and the inspiration is that intangible that
encourages us to do. I cannot thank her enough for taking my
ship/sword from my Mahaffey Coat-of-Arms and making it into a
transparency for me.
Gracie is a devotee to genealogical research. She
wants to make sure that those who need help get it. This award
is given for hard work on a genealogical site, and for helping
others to find their families. When you are visiting her sites,
be sure to look at her lovely new border backgrounds. Aren't they
lucious?
Gracie is hard at work looking for those who have put
their heart and soul into their sites thereby creating a great
site to share with others. She is mindful in preserving the
integrity of the design work of the artist.
