Check out my Family Tree page! I have a page consisting of my family tree, tracing it back to 4 generations and looking at several branches. This is not complete yet. But will hopefully be as complete as it can be, one of these days. You can go to the site by clicking on the link below
This is a "MUST SEE". I have a new Geography quiz. You can either choose a city and find out for which country it is the capital or choose a country and find out its capital. Check out this page!!!!! Just click on the revolving earth below to go to the GEOGRAPHY QUIZ page.
Manu is my first born. Currently, he is 14 years old. Adolescence is painful for the parent as well as the adolescent. Considering his difficult metamorphosis, Manu is quite OK. He is trying his best to get into a man's world.
To enter Manu's page, double click on his rolling picture.
Sneha is my 9-year old. She insisted that she have a presence in the web too. So here we go. Doubleclick her rolling picture to go to her home page.
We have been having fun creating lots of Animated Gifs. Quite easy to make them, once you know how. There are some very good ones available for download. How do you find out? Just go to Yahoo and search for GIF Animators. How to go to Yahoo? Well, follow my General Links page and you will find a link to Yahoo there.
There are several sites in the internet which are highly useful for parents looking for information on responsible parenting. I will endeavour to add links to these pages over some time.
THE URBAN ANGST: My parents had no problems raising me. I grew up in a village joint family amongst several children. But would I like to let my children just grow up like that?
In today's world of competition and dog-eat-dog, unless we equip our children with the right attitudes, values and knowledge, they are going to find it extremely difficult to manage the peer pressure they face when they grow up in an urban scenario.
This probably involves (a) getting the child trained and more importantly (b) we as parents getting trained ourselves.
In my travel through this great virtual Universe of Internet, I have come across some sites which I found to be quite interesting from the view point of a parent. Maybe you would like to take a look? Just click on the link below.
Here are some General links I have found to be quite interesting; though they do not have much to do with the theme of my home page, they can be very useful sites for internet novices who are trying to explore:
If you find this site interesting, do send me email. I would like to add you to my list of incorrigibles. Thanks!
