The Pinwheel Afghan

I made this for a friend's wedding.  Interestingly enough, the colors of the afghan matched her wedding party.
It's done in Red Heart Painted Desert, Burgundy, Tan, Forest and Dark Navy.
The sofa is at my mothers, and the painting was done by my grandmother.

The Caterpillar

Last year, our Angel Tree child requested a large stuffed animal.  I made her this.  It's about 2 1/2 feet long (75 cm).
It contains a variety of colors from my scrap box.

The Dress

This is Miss Olivia in her Easter Dress.  It caused quite a stir, and ladies were drifting in from the service saying "Where's the baby with the crocheted dress I'm hearing about?"  It's done in Red Heart yarn, French Countryside and off-white.  The bodice is single crochet and the sleeves and skirt are chain and single crochet.  The hat is from Wal-Mart and the wings and ball are a studio prop.

The Baby Afghan

This is done in Red Hear acrylic.  The colors are (left to right):
Soft white, baby blue, Tropical, royal blue, Spring, medium blue and Monet
The close up shows the lattice pattern in the color stripes.
Finished 9/7/2002

The Purple Dress

This was Victoria's Easter dress for 1998. She was about 6. Her brother was 3, and Baby Jon was 4 mo.
It's made of Red Heart purple and the trim is pale blue, pale pink and yellow.
The pattern came from Quick & Easy Crochet, "Ruffled party dress." The original was pale green with white.
Finished Spring 1998.

The Sweater

This I made for my daughter's Christmas present in 1997. It's called "pom-pom" and come from Granny's Girls. The sweater is done in Red Heart green and gold. Jon is the only one it fits at this point.

The hook-case

I made this for a Secret Sister exchange. The yarn is yellow and green of unknown origin (box lot from e-bay). It has a daisy button and room for 10 hooks. I liked it so well, I made one for myself.

The Shawl

I made this for a Secret Sister exchange. The yarn is pink acrylic. The pattern comes from an afghan book. This worked up quickly, even with all the picots. And Thomas had to get into the act.

The Lapghan

This is a lap-afghan I made for the bazaar in Oct 2002. It didn't sell. It's done in Red Heart Soft White. Quick and easy on an I hook and a mile-a-minute pattern.

And this isn't crochet, but it is cute.
