This year, Victoria is a Third Grader.
While Christopher is a Kindergartner.
My small Jedi insisted on his braid and an Obi-Wan lunchbox.
(the backpack is Scooby-Doo. My padawan maybe a little shaggy,
but he'll beg for scooby-snacks {actual transcript of a discussion,
5 year olds have odd minds}.)
I was hard-pressed to create them, but accomplished both.
And all the ladies at his day care laughed at the silly white woman
trying to do a weave.
The lunchbox is a plain silver one from Wal-Mart.
We printed out a picture of Obi-Wan from the Star
Wars website.
I trimmed it to fit the lunchbox, and coated both sides
in contact paper. A third piece, cut to the size of
the lunchbox, attached it to the metal. The lettering is
done with a permanent marker on the contact paper.
