The above
picture is an aerial view of Tamarind Gulf and Bay Condominiums.
The photo gives the perspective of the width of Manasota Key. The
lower part of the photo shows the beach and the upper shows Lemon
Bay, which is part of the Intercostal Waterway. As you can see,
there are no high rise complexes. Our condo is located on the
bay. The building is the uppermost right in the above photo. As
you can see, there is an awesome view of Lemon Bay and a short
walk across to the beach. Sunrise views from the patio take your
breath away!
Just south of
Sarasota lies a quiet, uncrowded, unspoiled island off the
mainland of Englewood, Florida, called Manasota Key. Englewood
has become known as "The Gem of the Suncoast."
Charlotte County is ranked in the top 5 places to live by Money
Magazine for the past 2 years. The white sandy beaches of the
Gulf of Mexico are a treasure trove for shelling and collecting
rare, prehistoric sharks teeth. Lemon Bay is a fishing and
boating paradise where dolphins are frequently observed. Manasota
Key is 85 miles south of Tampa and easily accessible from I-75.
Disney World is just 2 and 1/2 hours away. The Sarasota airport,
served by most major carriers, is 30 minutes north. Ft. Meyers is
45 minutes to the south.
This is the
dining room, looking into the living room, and out to the patio.
The beauty of the bay as you gaze out from the unit is so
soothing and relaxing. See dolphins swim past, watch fish jump,
boats glide past and you can watch other residents as they return
from a day of fishing, for the boat docks are just feet from
where you sit.
The Master
bedroom, with a queen bed, is decorated in lively beach style. A
window to the right of the dresser also looks out to the bay. On
warm evenings, open the window, and fall asleep as the gentle
breeze floats over you. There is also a private bathroom and a
walk in closet.
The guest
bedroom, with a guest bath, has twin beds and is decorated in
pleasing cool colors.
Well maintained grounds of
winding walkways, tropical flowers and palm trees soothe the
senses as you stroll about the complex.
An unspoiled, white sand beach
awaits the sun seeker who desires an uncrowded atmosphere.
Imagine walking barefoot in the surf, collecting shells and
sharks teeth. Perhaps you look out to the horizion and see
sailboats or watch fishing boats tend crab pots. Or, just bring a
beach chair, relax and watch a fabulous sunset. However the day
is spent, paradise is just steps across the road on Manasota
Beach!
Imagine
sitting poolside, gentle breezes caressing your skin, palm trees
swaying while you gaze across Lemon Bay. The heated pool is just
steps from the condo. It is a marvelous place to relax and work
on that winter tan that everyone in the Northern Climate will
envy!
