I'm running late today.
The alarm clock was set at
the wrong time. My husband John must have forgotten
to reset it before he went to work.
Well, that's beside the point. Get yourself a
cup of coffee.
I will be right back. I have to drop my son Drake off at Pre-School.
Oh good, you're still here. I hope I didn't take too long.
I usually do the vacuuming at this time of the day, but I can put that off until later.
Can I get you more coffee?
I hope that you are enjoying this so far. this page was
A Birthday gift from my husband. When I got it, I was completely ignorant to anything having to do with the World Wide Web or the Internet for that matter.
But, Thanks to the many free resources that I found, I am becoming fairly adept with this thing called HTML.
Now on to some of the things that My Family and I like to do.
John's favorite past time is fishing. The last time he went, he caught more then he bargained for.
My son Drake also enjoys this sport.
While they are doing that, I can usually be found lazing around in front of my WebTV.
In the summer we enjoy going campingat the beach on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
The beach is one of our favorite places to go. It's great to walk along the water and collect shells or to sit and just play in the sand.
For us the summer ends all to soon.
Autumn is a beautiful time of year here in Massachusetts. The leaves on the trees turn the brightest shades of yellow, orange, and red before they begin to fall.
John loves this time of the year because his favorite holiday, which is Halloween, is almost here.
He usually dresses up and scares the kids that come to the door with their bags out and expectant looks on their faces.
Most of the kids don't mind the tricks, because
they know that he will more than make up for it with
the treats.
Well, now it's time for my favorite holiday. Yep, you guessed, it is Christmas! I don't think that I know a woman alive who has kids that does not love Christmas.
About 3 weeks before that wonderous morning of the 25th of December John, Drake and myself go to a Christmas tree farm and pick out and cut down our tree.
Once we get the tree home the fun of decorating it begins. First comes the lights.
After the tree, Drake and I set up the nativity scene, mostly to remind us of what Christmas is really all about.
It's a long wait for a little boy like Drake, but Christmas eve finally arrives. All that's left to do is put the candy canes on the tree and leave out some milk and cookies for "Santa". Oh yeah, and get Drake into bed and asleep before dawn. He's up every 10 minutes to tell us he hears Santa on the roof.
Well, it's finally morning, if you can call it that. It's not even light out yet. But the smile and look of excitement on a childs face on Christmas morning when he looks upon all his presents is worth it in the end run. The suspence is just too much for him and he rips into the first gift that he comes upon.
I hope you have enjoyed your time with me. I sure have had alot of fun. Come back again, and if you have time check out my other pages. Please E-Mail me with any Feedback.
