In 1984, I began taking conformation handling classes from Susan Roberts. Sue has been showing, breeding and hunting over her brittanys for about 20 years. She was kind enough to allow a very novice handler to show a young male special of hers, CH Celt's Casino Fred.
The first brittany at Celt was a male purchased from Hope Brittanys which Sue named Jerry. CH Hope's Jeremiah Rann of Celt CD (DCH, Can. CH Hope's Maximilian Robespierre X CH Hope's Honey N Spice) became the first Celt Champion. Shortly after Jerry, Sue bought a bitch who would become her second Champion, CH Cherrywood Rustic Jem of Celt. All of Sue's dogs go back to Jerry and Ruby.
Sue had the opportunity to show and later purchase CH Terlo's Aces And Eights, Digger. Digger fathered his first litter at 10 years of age which produced CH Celt's Casino Fred and CH Celt's Diamond Lil. It has been the combination of Jerry, Ruby and Digger which have produced some of Celts best dogs.
About 5 years ago, Sue had the opportunity to purchase a dog out of an ABC Hall of Fame Dog, DCH/AFC Markar's Jacs A Dan Dee X DCH/AFC Hybritten's Pride Of Connie, CH Shenadoah Talisman JH, called Lucky.

A Breeding between Fred's sister, CH Celt's Diamond Lil and CH Sobriquet's MI KT Boy of Celt (Fred x CH Celt's Kiss Me Kate) resulted in a litter of 4 Champions, CH Celt's Diamond Chip (Chip), CH Celt's Roll the Dice (Dot), CH Whitlow's Tiffany Du Celt (Tiffany), and CH Diamond Dealer (Odie).
Dot was bred to CH Millette's Downtown Brown and produced CH Celt's Murphy Brown and Celt's Buster Brown (pointed).
Dot was also bred to CH Shenadoah Talisman JH and produced Celt's Luck Of The Draw.
A breeding between Fred and Lil resulted in two champions, CH Celt's Dealers Choice (Dealer)and a very special bitch, CH Celt's Mistaken Identity (Ida Rose). Ida Rose took her first points at her very first shows, back to back Best of Winners for 2 majors. She finished shortly after turning 1 year with a Best of Breed over specials. A short specials career resulted in over 50 Best of Breeds and a Group 2.
Ida Rose was bred to CH Jordean I Kid You Not (an Ollie son). That breeding resulted in 4 Champions, CH Celt's Indelible Mark (Spot), CH Celt's Little White Lies (Liesa Jane), CH Celt's Incognito (Connie), and CH Celt's Isis at Calusa(Isis). With a 14 month old Spot and Liesa Jane behind her, Ida Rose won the brood bitch class at the ABC Nationals in 1994.

Liesa Jane was bred to DCH AFC Masked Shoshoni War Chief (ABC's 1996 Dual Dog of the Year) and produced CH Celt's That's My Story, better known as Tory.
