Homepages on Geocities. When the total number hit
600,000 that put me in the top 5% and when it hit
750,000 homepages that moved me to the top 4%. Top
3% is when it hits 1,000,000 Homepages on Geocities.

WE 29 Jan 97-Counter hit 2300 Today. I have been helping (I think)
my nephew Jim with learning about his new computer and
showing him how to update his Homepage and use his Email
accounts. All of a sudden he has five email accounts.
SA 11 Jan 97-Counter hit 2250 Today. The Ben Murphy (themurphyfam)
Home Site is coming along with more than one person
adding info to it so take a look (Click on Ben on HP)
SA 4 Jan 97-Counter hit 2200 yesterday. My second 30 hours off the

TU 31 Dec 96-Counter hit 2150 yesterday.
FROM MATT PACHOSA (with a New Year's Resolution) - One of my New
Year's Resolutions last year was to establish a Homepage which I
did on 23 Feb 96. One of my New Year's Resolutions for 1997 is to
stay off the internet and email on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
(So if you email me on those three days I won't every see it until
the next day - This will allow me time to do other things I want to.)
MO 30 Dec 96-Still learning new stuff everyday. Discovered an easier
way to edit pages in Notepad on Geocities Editor.
Added pictures received in Christmas Cards to my Homepage.
I'll have to review my cards to see if I got them all.

WE 25 Dec 96-Won't you please have a Very Merry Christmas on me, Ha???
Did you receive a copy of the Nativity Scene? Do you want

TU 24 Dec 96-Counter hit 2100 today. Bill Tarvis and I were working
(playing?) on his computer when he went to my home page
and we saw it together. Watch the small changes to the
Geiger Family Homepage over the next few days. Also, I
hope that Rose will start adding things to themurphyfam
homepage.
SU 22 Dec 96-I added three more 3-D picture that I drew. They are
under Number 5 "Matt's 3-D Pictures". I guess I have to
do a better job of keeping this up to date. Did anyone
find "I don't do Windows" at the bottom of Lesson two
on the Geiger Family Homepage? Did anybody find my two
newspaper stories on my page in the middle just below
the four attentions?
SA 21 Dec 96-I think I am pretty much finished for the year with
giving out lessons. I just wrote Lesson Number Six
and sent it out to four groups of people (New twist -
I sent it to a group, but it looks like they get it
individually so they think it's directly to them).
The first Five Lessons are on the GeigerFamily Homepage
at Number ten under "Cool Links" on my homepage.
(Will probably add Lesson Six next week, but if you want
to see it early just email me and ask for it. (1:46 pm

9 Jun 96 - Found new geocities editor system for Homepage.
3 Aug 96 - Back on the Net and Updating My Homepage probably daily.
9 Sep 96 - On counter hit 500 on 21 Aug, 600 on 30 Aug, and 700 today.
26 Sep 96 - Counter hit 750 today.
Thur-10 Oct 96 - In Los Angeles and searching for the Freenet. The three
libraries I been to don't know anything about it, but they
have the internet, so I am putting this little blurb here
for all to read. I seem to be able to send email thru the
homepages, but don't know who it is coming from since I don't
have an account, so for heaven's sake don't reply to it.
Tue-15 Oct 96 - Counter hit 800 today. I'm learning much about LA system.
Will learn more about Geocities tomorrow. Use my new email
pachosa@hotmail.com to send me email while I am on the road.
Wed-16 Oct 96 - Had a nice visit with Mike Campanella and Erika Penzer at
Geocities New Offices. Erika thought my Homepage would
fit in better with "Heartland". Since Heartland is full,
we went to the suburbs of "Heartland/Plains". Read new
Stuff above. I just keep adding...will delete shortly.
& I changed my email address so I can get Homepage email.
Fri-18 Oct 96 - Counter hit 850 today.
Tue--5 Nov 96 - Counter hit1400 plus because of paragraph one above.
Thur-7 Nov 96 - Counter hit 1500 today. That is 650 more because of
Newsletter No. 7 from Geocities.
Sat -9 Nov 96 - Expanded my Homepage to take in temporarily Athens/8587
& Heartland/Plains/2575 so look there,too.
& Also added 3-D Pictures of Mike Campanella & Todd Jaeger
who are Geocities Staff with the HelpDesk.
Mon-11 Nov 96 - Counter hit 1600 today. I also connected to GTE internet
to save the cost of the 25 cent call to Tampa to connect.
You would think that ATT would put a local number in on the
Pinellas County side for the one million of us who reside
here. But every time we call tampa it cost us a quarter.
Wed-20 Nov 96 - A push to upgrade and streamline my Homepage by 20 Dec 96
(So check daily to see the progress - First delete some
pages, and - Second streamline into "Links"
Sun-24 Nov 96 - Counter hit 1700 Today. More info on Homepage tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to how well Bill Eselby is going to do
on his Homepage which started day - he is a very fast
learner. Check number 13 under "Cool Links" daily.
Fri-29 Nov 96 - I saw 1700 on the counter, but early in the week it jumped
back to 1654 and is on it's way up again. I received my
first Christmas (Post) Card today from John Larocque, a
total stranger (None from my relatives and friends yet) and
you can see it too by seeing below.
SU 1 Dec 96 - The internet is coming to the Libraries around Here. It is
already at MOSI and PPPL and will be at other shortly.
I am at PPPL right now, but nobody showed up to learn, yet!
TU 3 Dec 96 - The counter hit 1700 "again". It was there once before and
Dropped a count of about 50 two weeks ago.
WE 4 Dec 96 - Instructed three members of the "Click and Drag Club" on the
capabilities of the internet and established a Home Page for
Chrisandsis. Let's see how they do in updating it. See #16
under "Cool Links" below. Received my First Christmas Card
today from a couple from England I met on the Rome-Athens
Trip. See below.
TU 10 Dec 96 - Anita Ford introduced herself as my block warden yesterday
and she has the most fabulous Homepage I've seen yet. It
is a puzzle to find all the things in her "house" and I am
still looking. I think this is the best Homepage I've seen.
I emailed 70 Christmas Card last week and just Post Office
mailed 50 Christmas Cards for my Dad to his Relatives and
friends. I start on establishing my "Annual Christmas Book-
let" today and hope to finish by the 20th of December.
WE 11 Dec 96 - Counter hit 1800 today. Starting to complete my Annual Xmas
letter/brochure/booklet/pamphlet! Learning new stuff daily.
TH 12 Dec 96 - Well, I am fooling around in the advanced editor and it
doesn't have as big a window to write in. I could just
scroll over to the right, but I want to see what this
looks like on my homepage. Much better to write this
page in the basic editor
FR 13 Dec 96-I wrote a letter to Erika at Geocities and asked someone
to pose in front of the tree at 9 a.m. their time. See
the results at the top of my homepage.
