Hello! My name is Amanda Grieme, and I am just about to complete my Professinal and Secondary Education certification in English at East Stroudsburg University in PA. I am presently student teaching at Hackettstown High School, Hackettstown, NJ, where i have developed a keen interest in the NJ ed. system, charter schools in particular. Hackettstown High is a very progressive school where I have been welcome to integrate all of my creative ideas into the classroom. The 9th-12th grade students that I've been working with have really enjoyed my love off the performance arts, and how we, as a class have utilized the classroom as a stage, coupling the Literature we are studying: Oedipus the King, and Romeo and Juliet.
