Quilts by Cynthia - Page 5

I made this "race car" baby quilt for my Grand Nephew, Clayton Carel. He is the son of David and Stephanie Carel and little brother to Mariah, from Edmond, Oklahoma. Clayton was born May 28th, 1999.

I made this wallhanging for demonstrating in my quilting classes. It teaches different techniques in block building and helps with different quilting designs. It hangs behind my headboard in my bedroom now.

This is another "sampler" quilt and was sold to a lady in Deleware.

"Sampler Quilt" made for a lady in TX.

"Square in a Square" quilt made for a lady in Oklahoma. I made the top only, she wanted it machine quilted so she could throw it over her couch to keep her cats off.

This quilt was made especially for my Grandfather, Alex Ring, while he was in the nursing home. After his passing, it was given back to me where I can keep his memory alive. He was a devoted fisherman and didn't want to use this quilt for fear someone would steal it. The family finally convinced him to use his quilt and not worry.
