Joshua 6
1 Now Jericho was straitly shut up
because of the children of Israel:
none went out, and none came in.
2 And the LORD said unto Joshua,
See, I have given into thine hand Jericho,
and the king thereof, and the mighty
       men of valour.
See!
See...?
God said that like we would say, "See, I have cut the grass." We say this to point out to someone something observable.

See!
What would man have seen standing there outside Jericho? Walls 15 to 25 feet thick. Doors buttressed against any going out and disallowing any coming in. No way to go over the wall. No way through it. That's what man would have seen.

But Joshua saw exactly what God told him He had given him. Joshua saw with eyes of faith. I can just hear Joshua saying or thinking, "I see it. I see it. It's ours!"

"For with God nothing shall be impossible."

Luke 1:37

"...if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done."

Matt. 21:21
