QUILTING MADE EASY!

South Dakota Star

Paper Peicing

For very accurate blocks try paper piecing as a method for quilting. You may want to start with a single block for practice. When you work with these designs, you will notice that the illustrations are mirror images of the patterns. This is the nature of this technique.

The quilt has 6 blocks across and 6 blocks down. This pattern was made using 6 inch blocks. You will be sewing 4 blocks together to complete a star. The border is 4 inches with a 4 inch block in each corner.
