Family of Enoch Rucker and Tabitha Chastain

Note: Part of Franklin County, Georgia became Banks County in 1858. The people did not move; the county lines just changed.

Most of this family who died in Saline Co., AR. are buried in New Friendship Cemetery located 6 miles south of Benton on Highway 35 toward Sheridan, then 1/2 mile south toward Tull on Highway 190.

Enoch Rucker joined Co. H. 34th Reg. Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Army of Tennessee in Banks County, GA.
