Pebbles, Jarrod, &
Kyle's Home Page
October 2000
June 2000
January 5, 2000 Ringing in the new year was pretty uneventful. Watched the ball drop in Times Square and watched the Hollywood sign light upon TV. When Kyle went to the Dr. right before Christmas, he was 7 lbs 6 oz. He must be over 8 lbs now. Jarrod returned to day care 2 days a week. He seems to be having lots of fun there and comes home dirty. Mommy is recovering slowly. Daddy is readjusting to work on a full time basis. We are spending most of our free time trying to recover from all of the Christmas presents that Jarrod got. He opened them over several days starting on Christmas. He's really gotten "into" opening gifts... so much so that he's opened gifts that don't belong to him.

June 20, 1999 It's Father's day and Jarrod is walking like a mad man. It's sooo cute to see him wandering aimlessly with a big ole smile. We took him "swimming" in a swimming pool ... it took him a little while to get comfortable, but he seemed to enjoy himself. Cousin Alicia came over to visit and Jarrod seems to be awfully affectionate with her, giving her hugs, and then a whack on the head. On Friday, daddy went to Father's Day icecream social at his school.
May 22, 1999 We took Jarrod strawberry picking ... he could care less about picking strawberries, but boy, does he like to EAT THEM.
May 8, 1999 It's mother's day weekend and Jarrod takes his first free standing steps. Our life is going to change rapidly.

March 16, 1999 Jarrod is almost 11 months old now. Poor guy got an ear infection AGAIN. But he is recovering and seems to be in good spirits after having a very unenthusiastic appetite over the weekend. Jarrod can easily pull up to a stand using his walker. Dad hasn't gotten his act together to put more Pix on the web.
March 4, 1999 Jarrod is using his little walker a lot and learning to methodically traverse the livingroom. Ocassionally, he'll take a spill, but get up more determined then ever and try to keep walking. He seems to really like reading books. Brown Bear, Brown Bear seems to really capture his attention. Last night, Jarrod let go of the walker in an attempt to grab a book laying on the couch. He actually stood without support for a whopping 2 seconds before plopping to the ground. Jarrod is about 19 lbs now, has 4 teeth, and is eating us out of house and home.
February 17, 1999 Haven't been able to update the site much. Jarrod's dad will try and get better at it, even if he doesn't add pictures. In summary, here's what's been going on. Around Christmas time, Jarrod started to get up on all fours. By New Years, he was able to crawl clumsily. By the end of January, he could crawl with a lot of determinination. By the beginning of February, he could pull himself up to a stand.
Favorite Picture from Last Year
October 31, 1998 Jarrod started eating carrots this week. As you can see above, mommy and daddy had fun dressing him up for Halloween. He went to the church Halloween alternative, and had fun visiting everyone with his Gung Gung and Po po while his Mom and Dad helped children "fish animals out of the water" at ARKs game booth.
October 26, 1998 Jarrod and I have finally met. Jarrod isn't a whole lot of fun yet, but he seems to like watching me play fetch with his daddy. Sometimes, Jarrod and daddy will sit down at the back door and feed me cookies. Jarrod watches me with amazement, and sometimes he will reach out and touch my ears. It's hard to believe that Jarrod is 6 months old now. He started eating solids. A couple of weeks ago, Jarrod got his first new cousin, Alicia! Alicia and her mommy had a tough time at the hospital, but I understand that they are doing much better now, even after Alicia was born much earlier then expected.
Hi! I'm Pebbles Head. This is my home away from home. When you come and visit me, I'll bring you images from my masters. They are really nice, but are too cheap to mail photos too you. So, they painstakenly crop images for your viewing pleasure.
Since Darren moved away with his main squeeze, he really looks forward to when Pat comes over to visit, because a lot of times, Pat will bring me too!
