Some information about my Killion line... They came from Germany in 1732 to
PA. then to Lincoln County, Lincoln, North Carolina... in 1749 a little place
called Killian's Creek, NC. came into existance. In the 1800's some of them moved into Daviess County,
IN, among other places. If you know anything about this line, please let me
know. If I can help you, feel free to ask. I have met many
Kilian/Killian/Killion cousins on the KILLIAN-L@rootsweb.com listserv (the
URL is http://www.KILLIAN-L@rootsweb.com). It has about 60
Kilian/Killian/Killion members from all over the US. that share history,
family lines, and just general chat about our families. Contact me for
information about that group if you are interested. Also there are two other lists. One is KILLION-L@rootsweb.com (notice the spelling is with an "O") and another one is Killion@onelist.com (mostly for the Indiana Killian/Killion's) Thanks. Here is a very
brief run down of my line:
1.Andreas Kilian/Killian (b 1702 Germany/d NC)
2.Leonard (Leonhard) Killian (b 1723 NC/d NC)
3.Mathias Killian (b 1749 NC/d IN)
4.Frederick M. Killion (b 1794 NC/d IN)
5.David Elbert Killion (b 1822 IN/d IN)
*6.John Newton Killion (b 1846 IN/d IN)
7.Stephen Edgar Killion (b 1910 IN/d IN)
8.ME :-)
9. My four children
10. My five grandchildren

I have most of the descendants of each of these lines and of the siblings
of these lines. Also listed is my grandmother's line coming down through
the Killion line:
1.Andreas Kilian/Killian (b 1702 Germany/d NC)
2.Leonard (Leonhard) Killian (b 1749 NC/d IN)
3.Mathias Killian (b 1749 NC/d IN)
4.William M. Killion (b 1788 NC/d IN)
5.Wiley Killian (b 1809 NC/d IN)
6.Isaac Newton Killian (b 1834 IN/d IN)
*7.Margaret Mary Killian (b 1874 IN/d IN)
8.Stephen Edgar Killion (b 1910 IN/ d IN)
9. ME... again :-)
10. My four children
11. My five grandchildren
*John and Margaret were 2nd cousins once removed, but at the time of their
marriage, and because of the difference in the spelling of their last
names, they did not know they were related. So, I guess you could say... I
am REALLY a Killion... full blooded or double blooded :-)
