Latt Earl ROBINSON was born on 28 May 1908 in Celo (Yancey) NC. He saw service in 1944/45 in the U S Navy. Discharged from Navy in 1945 with heart problems. Had Leukemia from age 55 until death at 68 from heart failure. He died on 28 Sep 1976 in the VA Med Cen Asheville NC. This obituary appeared in the Asheville Citizen-Times Newspaper:

"MORGANTON - Lat Earl Robinson, 68, of 209 Linville St., died Monday in a Buncombe County VA hospital after a period of declining health.
He was born in Yancey County and was a son of the late Woodrow and Rebecca Burleson Robinson. He had lived in Burke County for the past 30 years, was a member of North Morganton Baptist Church and was a World War II Navy veteran. He retired from Morganton Furniture Co. in 1960.
Surviving are five sons, Earl Robinson of Laramie, Wyo., Brooks Robinson of Union City, Calif., Dean Robinson of Alabama, Jack Robinson of Charlotte and Stuart Robinson of Morganton; three daughters, Mrs. Ray Sparks of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Ronnie Fox and Miss Libby Robinson of Morganton; a brother, Leonard Robinson of Hickory; two sisters, Mrs. Randall Miller of Morganton and Mrs. Carrie Hall of Burnsville; 14 grandchildren and a great-greatchild.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Colonial Chapel of Sossomon Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Burke Memorial Park. Family members will be pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the cancer fund."

He was buried on 1 Oct 1976 in Burke Memorial Park, Morganton NC. He was married to Lenore SILVER on 20 Sep 1929.

Lenore SILVER was born on 14 Apr 1910 in Low Gap (Yancey) NC. She was listed on the 1910 Yancey County census as "baby" because she hadn't been registered yet. She died on 14 Apr 1989 in McDonough GA. She was buried on 16 Apr 1989 in Low Gap NC. The following appeared in the Asheville Citizen-Times obituary columns.

"LENORE ROBINSON

Lenore Silver Robinson, 79, of McDonough, Ga., died Friday, April 14, 1989 in a McDonough nursing home.
A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Welzie and Lillie Ogle Silver. She was the wife of the late Latt Robinson.
Surviving are a daughter, Pat Sparks of Stockbridge, Ga.; three sons, Jack Robinson of Waxaw, Brook (sic) Robinson of Union City, Calif., and Dean Robinson of Marion; three brothers, Cloyce and Brook Silver of Burnsville, Reed Silver of New Market, Tenn.; a sister, Mary Ellen Burns of New Market; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m., Saturday in McMahan Cemetery at Bee Branch. The Rev. Stanley McMahan officiated. Holcombe Bros. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements".
