The Living Room

Here we are -- The Lemmas. This is actually our engagement picture, taken in November of 1996. While our Living Room is where we spend most of our time in real life, this page is actually rather boring! There are a couple of things you might find in our living room:

First of all, you would find our cat's baskets. We have two very spoiled little cats, who have baskets lined with lush burgundy velvet, adorned with a handmade eyelet heart pillow. Did I mention they were spoiled? Read all about them here:  Cat Basket

We were married a year ago, October 18, 1997, at the Bucher Meeting House on the campus of Elizabethtown College (our alma mater). It was an incredible day. Everything was perfect, from the beautiful fall weather to the horse-drawn carriage ride, to the hand-made wedding gown my mother made for me, to my surprise debut dance of the Lemma. (Brian has, for years, had a dance named for his, well, let's just say *unique* style of dancing.) All of those things were wonderful, but nothing compared to the official joining of our two lives as husband and wife, in a marriage ceremony whose every word had meaning to us.
