The objectives of this Society are to promote interest in the History of Carroll County and the State of Arkansas, to locate, collect and preserve historical materials and to publish historical articles, news, notes, and other such materials as is deemed worthy of publication. The society's private collection includes family histories, census records, microfilm, publications and other materials for genealogical research. The society does not charge for the use of its research facilities, but always welcomes donations of monies and research materials to add to its holdings.
