The Robertson family Bible, published by the American Bible Society, dated 1870, is in the possession of their grandson, James McCarty Robertson, of Cordell, Oklahoma. It contains the family record of births, marriages, and deaths. The handwriting is, no doubt, that of James Wiley Robertson, at the beginning, however, the handwriting changes from time to time, and with years. The transcription is as it appears in the Bible. The parenthesis information has been added.

The Bible was passed down to the older son, Colin Hodges; then to the granddaughter, Colene Joy; then to a grandson, James McCarty Robertson.
