Jotham Lassiter (abt 1752-1810), wife's name not known, had one known daughter: Elizabeth, b. abt 1760, Granville County, North Carolina, m. 15 Oct 1783, Granville County, North Carolina, to William B. Swinney, b. abt 1760, Chatham County, North Carolina, d. Jun 1825, Chatham County, North Carolina.

Elizabeth Lassiter (abt 1760-????) and William B. Swinney (abt 1760-1825) had nine sons and one daughter. Children are: Samuel H., William Hillsboro, Wiley, b. 3 Apr 1791, North Carolina, d. 23 Mar 1858, old Tishomingo County, Mississippi, m.
