Children are: John, George, Thomas, Nathaniel Robertson, Sr., b. abt 1680, Kindeace, County Ross, Scotland, d. 1711, Surry County, Virginia, m. abt 1705, York County, Virginia, Mary Drewry, b. 14 Oct 1688, Charles Parrish, York County, Virginia, d. 1718, Surry County, Virginia, William, Jr., Mary, Catherine, Elspeth, Isabella, and Anne.

Christopher Robertson (abt 1710-bef 1791) and Isham had two sons and one daughter: John Robertson, Sr., b. abt 1729, d. bef May 1803, m. abt 1749, Virginia, to Amy Temple, b. 3 June 1731, Prince George County, Virginia, d. bef 1803, Wake County, North Carolina, Thomas, Sr., and Betty.

Christopher Robertson (abt 1710-bef 1791) and Winnifred Gilliam had no children.

John Robertson, Sr. (abt 1729-bef May 1803) and Amy Temple (1731-aft 1803) had four sons and four daughters: James Robertson, b. abt 1750, Wake County, North Carolina, d. bef 1830, Lawrence County, Alabama, m. 1788, to Temperance, b. 1770, Virginia, d. bef Feb 1845, old Tishomingo County, Mississippi, Lott, Arthur, John, Jr., Winnifred, Amy, Faithey (Fatha), and Sarah.

James Robertson (1750-1830) and Temperance, (1770-bef Feb 1845) had four sons and seven daughters: Lott, Higdon, Willis, Pollie, Candace, Winnie, Amy, Sarah, Nancy, James Harlow Robertson, b. 1805, North Carolina, d. 12 Apr 1885, Booneville, Prentiss County, Mississippi, m. (1st) 19 Mar 1844, old Tishomingo County, Mississippi, to Manerva Swinney, b. 12 Sep 1827, Georgia, d. aft 1860, old Tishomingo County, Mississippi, and m. (2nd) 3 Nov 1867, old Tishomingo County, Mississippi, to Martha Ann Jones Wadsworth, b. Sept 1842, Georgia, d. 22 Aug 1909, Prentiss County, Mississippi, and Belinda, all children b. in North Carolina.

James Harlow Robertson (1805-1885) and Manerva Swinney (1827-aft 1860) had three daughters and five sons: Sophira Temperance A., Mary T., James Wiley, b. 14 Mar 1849, old Tishomingo County, Mississippi, d. 14 Mar 1925, Stillwater, Payne County, Oklahoma, m. 8 Nov 1868, old Tishomingo County, Mississippi, to Millie Ann Jones, b. 28 Nov 1850, Griffin, Spalding County, Georgia, d. 1 Jan 1935, Vinson, Harmon County, Oklahoma, William Bonds, Burkett Swinney, Nathaniel Whitfield, Christopher Henry, and Fannie. All children were born in old Tishomingo County, Mississippi. Of the five sons, William Bonds remained in Booneville, Prentiss County, Mississippi, and the other four moved to Wise County, Texas. Christopher Henry stayed at Decatur, Wise County, Texas. About 1901, James Wiley, Burkett Swinney, and Nathanaiel Whitfield went to old Greer County, Oklahoma Territory. James Wiley first went to Willow, just north of Mangum, then settled at Vinson, while Burkett Swinney and Nathaniel Whitfield settled at Reed. Of the three daughters, only Mary T. moved to Texas

Of Interest: Though the burial place of James Harlow Robertson and Manerva Swinney Robertson is not established, a marker was dedicated and placed in the Robertson burial plots at the Booneville Cemetery, Saturday, October 17, 1998. See photograph below.
