There are many sites devoted to publishing information on the UK National Lottery and, indeed, most contain more information.
However, this site has two novel attributes.
First is the language used - JavaScript. Most other sites use CGI scripts to operate their forms, and although the execution time is shorter, they require contact with the host server to execute the command, which can leave the user hung-up on Internet lag. With JavaScript, the data and programs required are downloaded directly into your browser, no re-connections are necessary. The second unusual idea in this site is the rating function that I devised, which identifies 'better' combinations. You can use the rating procedure to see how good your number selection is, although you may want to read the derivation of the function first, to see just exactly what it does. |
