This is the homepage of Kiwi, Perseus, and Athena, a flock of parrots that live in Phoenix, Arizona.
Kiwi is a senegal parrot. Senegals are intelligent, fiesty, playful and affectionate. They are part of the Poicephalus family and originate in the continent of Africa. Senegal Parrots are not especially good talkers, but some can develop an impressive vocabulary.
Perseus and Athena are two young red-sided eclectus parrots. Perseus was hatched January 2000, and is a beautiful shade of green. Athena is a January 2001 hatch. She is covered with beautiful red and purple feathers. Perseus is very attracted to Athena, although he doesn't know what he should do about it. He likes to hang out close to her cage, and sometimes he'll intrude on her space and eat her seeds. That doesn't go over very well with Athena, but she's learning to live with it.
