I was born in Kilgore, Texas in May of 1946. My father was in
construction and we moved with the jobs. I attended 23 different
schools between the 3rd grade graduation from Forest
Park High School on my 18th birthday in 1964. I have either
lived in or visited nearly all the states and
seen a lot of famous historical sights.
Sterling and I married on Friday the 13th in June of 1969.
We have lived in the Houston, Texas area since that time, only
recently moving to the country. I wish we had done that many
years ago. I have worked seldom since my marriage, but have
worked as a telephone operator, receptionist, and machine
operator, besides being a mom.
Since Jinx was born I have enjoyed staying home and raising him.
He along with his numerous friends keep me busy running the
roads and feeding them. It isn't easy keeping up with teens
but it does keep me young, and I would rather have them here
than out getting into trouble.
In April of 1997, I was able to visit several of my chat friends
in Oregon, Washington, Vancouver Ca and Arizona. Extending my
travels to places I had not seen. I want to thank Barbara and
Jim Bonner for having me visit with them, and to Mystic, cleo,
and Fozzie for making my lay over in Phoenix a wonderful
2 hours.
