"You have the right to remain silent"... and I wish you would! My Dad. He's a police detective, a retired Army National Guard General, a referee for football and a baseball umpire. He's always in some kind of uniform! Believe it or not, he still has enough time to do things with me, like ride the merry-go-round or go swimming, take me to dances and my plays. My Mom. She just stays home and takes care of everybody. She loves to go to craft shows. Sometimes I go with her and we look for a new puppet, hat or shirt. She also loves to cook and bake...mmmmm! I love it when she makes a "yum yum" cake. If she's not at a craft show, cooking or baking, she's on the 'puter with all her friends from the CdLS Online Support Group. John (right) & David (middle) My brother Dave. He's still in college and works at a school as a teacher's aide for a special needs student. He also works part-time at a department store and teaches religion on Saturday mornings. He's real busy too but always has time for me when Mom need a break! My brother John. He's the oldest and he settled in Colorado after he got out of the Army. He's very far away but I get to talk to him about every other day. I've been to see him in Colorado and he took us up to the top of Pikes Peak. Not a good idea. I got very sick. Too high up for me, and very cold up there. John usually comes home for Christmas and we get to do some fun things together then. And last but not least, my dog Shadow. He was given to me after I had my first eye surgery. He doesn't like it very much when I scream or throw temper tantrums. He'll usually go hide. He does come with me every morning to meet the bus and he's there every afternoon when I get off the bus. He's really a good dog and very protective of me. Mickey Mouse images © Disney |
