Hi and welcome to my place. I'm a CIS major at Floyd College in Rome, Georgia. Here I'm off again to class, but I also love to cook and make crafts. I love the Internet and I probably spend way too much time working on my homepage, but I've met alot of interesting people from all over the world.

Here's a page full of recipes for cheesecake & my son's favorite recipe for popcorn is below:

Hot Popped Popcorn*

Butter-flavor salt
Nuts (peanuts, almonds, etc.)
Dried fruit (raisins, apricots, dates, etc.)
Soy nuts, Pumpkin seeds, Carob pieces

Set out a large bowl of popped popcorn;
sprinkle with butter-flavored salt.
Put bowls of any or all the accompaniments around popcorn.
Let each person fill a small bowl with popcorn and
top with desired health snacks.

* In a 3-quart popper, use 1/3 cup kernels and 3 tablespoons oil. In a 4-quart popper, use 1/2 cup kernels and four tablespoons oil.

I just added my own recipe for Sausage Tamales. Give it a try if you love mexican food.

FLOWERS

Each spring, I love to go to Harry's Farmers Market and pick out the latest bulbs for my garden. Elephant ears, canna flowers, and malanga are old reliables. They have to be dug up because I live in zone 7, but I love to watch them dance in the wind.

    I learned to crochet 20 years ago when my son was in the hospital for an extended stay. I spend my spare time in the evening making doilies for my family. I use South Maid Cotton Thread. Please feel free to browse through my crochet page. It has lots of good links, patterns, instructions, and thread suppliers.

    I've quite a bird collection. I have three cockatiels. At the top of the page is a picture of my sweet gray cockatiel, Rod. I love cockatiels, but I also have seven parakeets.

    I also have a little black persian cat named Backstreet Boyz. Cats are my favorite pets. I've had the pleasure of knowing a few of these sweet intelligent creatures in my life. I just recently lost my sweet siamese Mr. Myster to kidney failure, so I've put up a photo dedication to him and all my other friends.

    BassThe Spencers are friends of mine and they have a very cute website featuring their fishing photos. Don't look for me on there. I don't fish, but I'll clean them.
