Arrival at Brisbane Airport
Arriving at brisbane airport (finally!) after about 7 hours on-flight. haven't catch much sleep on the flight though, with all the air turbulance causing the cabin vibration.
Day 1 Activities - Fishing and Crabbing
This is the place where we do some fishing, although none caught any fish. Quite obvious since fishes doesn't come so near to the shore anyway. Our lunch is hotplate seafood (yummy!!) prepare by the local Australian. Oops! forget to take a photo showing how tempting the food is...heehee...
Behind me is the sugar cane plantation. See how tall the sugar cane is, look like it's close to 2m!
Nope. i didn't caught this crab. Just posing a picture with my lunch.
After lunch, finally get to see the hotel we are staying in gold Coast. It's Legend Hotel, conveniently located near surfer paradise, where there's lot of shops, cafes, fast food restaurants etc. This photo shows the street view near Legend Hotel.
Behind me is the shopping complex in surfer paradise known as 'PARADISE CENTRE'.
This picture is also taken in surfer paradise. Right behind me you can see 'Gold Coast' ; the famous beach.
We had our dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. Not too difficult to locate the place, with the big guitar neon light hanging on the building. In Australia, the sky turn dark into night time as early as 6pm!! (that is 4pm in Singapore). Quite hard to believe i took this picture at 6pm++ right?
This is a partial interior view of the Hard Rock Cafe in Surfer Paradise,
Gold Coast.
Okie. that's more or less settle for day one. Need to get back to the
hotel to catch some sleep now. By the way, the weather is very chilling
today, about 14 degree, colder than my air-conditioner at home. Really
admire those ladies who are still wearing mini-skirt or shorts on the street
on such a cold day.
Where u wanna go today? Home
