Have you ever felt that an ancestor was trying to communicate with you? Have you ever felt pulled by some unknown force to look for something in particular? Has a strange feeling about a certain ancestor ever led you to make connections that you had no reason to suspect even existed? Have you ever entered a cemetery you have never been in before and walked directly to your ancestor's grave...without knowing who or what was leading the way? I am looking for stories of this type---stories of times when our ancestors were "stirring the pot" as my cousin Michelle Orlando calls it. If you have had experiences like this, send me your stories and I will place them on my new Ancestral Ghost Stories page. This new feature is for everyone, whether or not you share my surnames. I just want to gather as many stories of unusual experiences of this type as possible. This is for Michelle, who told me that she misses the Ghost Stories that people post on the Prodigy Genealogy BB around Halloween. I believe this feature will turn out to be really interesting and a lot of fun! Please use "Ghost Stories" as the subject line on the Email message. |
The midi file that (I hope) you are now hearing is
a traditional Scots ballad called "Carnlough Bay". It is from: |
