Hobbies and Interests
I am currently involved in researching the genealogy of the Graham
family here in Virginia. Other names connected with my line of the Grahams
in Virginia and North Carolina are: Bare, Booth, Delaney, Farley, Holliday, Thornton and Sheets. I am also doing limited research on my Mom's side of the family and the names I am interested in are: Taylor, Gordon, Huff and Mitchel. If your name happens to be any of these, send me e-mail. We might be .
I am also interested in Metal
Detecting and the collecting of all kinds of historical items (bottles,
Civil War, coins, etc.).
I have been a Corvette fan since I purchased my first one in 1973.
This was a 1963,
Riverside Red, split window coupe. Second, I had a 1978,
Black, Anniversary Edition, coupe. I am now driving, as my "weekend car",
a 1990,
Arctic White with black top, convertible.
This is the latest daily driver.
2005 Toyota Tacoma
NICE TRUCK!!!
And the latest toy I have been blessed with....
A 2007 Road Star Midnight Silverado... What a Ride!!!
(Member: STAR Touring and Riding Association and Silent Skulls International MC)
My son and I became certified Scuba
Divers in 1990 and I enjoy this activity, although, since my son (dive
buddy) joined the Police dept., I don't go as often as I would like. For a photo
of my dive buddy and I (and a "finned" pal of ours) Click
Here.
Astronomy is another activity I enjoy. In case you missed Comet Hale-Bopp Click Here for one of my photos of the comet taken from atop White Oak Mountain near my home.
Photography seems to go hand in hand with astronomy and for a time
in my early life I was a professional photographer. To see some examples
of my early photos, click below.
