INTRODUCTION
There is a saying in the Old Country,
"To be a genuine Basque three things are required: first, to have a
resounding surname that identifies the origin. Second, to speak the language
of the sons of Aitor. Third, to have an uncle in America".

This site is dedicated to the descendants of those
uncles in America that are curious about their roots and yearn to know more
about the culture, history and origin of their ancestors. In here we hope
to provide a place of information, exchange of stories and family history.
We will also link to Basque sites that promote the advancement of the Basque
culture everywhere. Please feel free to send us your comments, questions
or articles and pictures of interest for us all.
