I have a majority (5 of 8) of my 2nd great-grandfathers that were Civil War Veterans. All of them fought for the Union. Which I was very surpised at since all of them lived in southern Kentucky and I would have thought they would have fought for the Confederacy. Hmmm. I have a lot of information on one, (William B. Tharp, Jr.) a little on the others and none on some. I have only started getting the pension papers for these guys. I will add more as I get the information. How soon that will be only the lord knows. ;) If you have anything to add or correct me on, please feel free to do so. Raque@bellsouth.net
If their name is underlined then I have some information about them, or pension files or something. Just click on it to see what there is.
