This Page is setup to inform everyone about the Shofner Surname List that is hosted at Rootsweb. It was set up for anyone that is a Shofner descendant or has any Shofner in their family tree. If you are a descendant or have a Shofner in your tree and would like to find out a little more about the family or meet other people that are also related to Shofner. Please feel free to subscribe. - Just click on one of the two requests below, just type in the body of the email "Subscribe" and then send it. {without the "" just the word subscribe}
It is a rootsweb list and, if you are not familiar with rootsweb, there are two modes for receiving mail from the list:
SHOFNER-L-request@rootsweb.com - Mail mode will send you each posting to the list as a separate e-mail.
SHOFNER-D-request@rootsweb.com - Digest mode will send a consolidation of several messages.
- Anywhere from minutes to a little while later you will get an email back. It will have the instructions on how to post to the list.
