BIG and OLD!
53 chevy 3600!

I bought the truck back in 1976 for $50.00. This picture was taken in 1977. I put a difference hood on because the hood did not line up right.

I found out that the truck was in a wreck on the front drivers side. The orginal color is the color of the green fender in the next picture. I also know that the truck use to be a Phillip 66 Distributer truck.

This 53 Chevy 3600 has been a dream of mind for a long time. I did have a 53 3100 Chevy back in high school that my father bought about 1965. We had to replace the drivers front fender to line everything up right.

My friend Ryan is helping me with my truck. I have the tailgate, Radio, and Air Conditioning hoses to do to get the truck done.
I put a 73 Chevy 3/4 ton 4X4 under the 53 Chevy. The running boards are 24 inchs off the ground. I put 285/16 tire on it.
I do have parts that I will not be using. E-mail me if you can use them.
Parts

235 engine

oil filter for engine

3 oil bath air filters

weatherstripe for doors (new)

2 carb. for engine

4 - 8 lug orginal rims

3 tailgates that need work(I have seen one Rinolined to help find the bents in the tailgate.

1 half ton spare tire mount.
I need to make a better list of parts.

1 283 Chevy engine w/RV cam (out of a 65 chevy truck)

This is my friend Ryan's Vega.

I also play a little with remote controls. I have this remote control and a 56 Chevy car remote control.
