            Sorter Cemetery is located in Ovid Township. It is on the west side of U.S. 27 soing south toward Kinderhook.

  This cemetery is located on what was the Nathaniel S. Sortore farmstead. He purchased this land from the federal government in 1845. This
  property is currently the Rursch family farm. The cemetery is located in a farm pasture south of the buildings in SW1/4, S. 20, T. 20, 16 N.- .R
