The material contained in the
family history is dedicated to my youngest daughter Kim Mei Sortor.
The collection of this material began as a junior high school genealogy
project around forty years ago. It includes material on both the
maternal and paternal family members. While much of the material
is based on my own research a lot of material was contributed by other
family members. It is my desire to share this material with as many
family members as possible. I also welcome contributions of additional
material from family members. I am especially interested in obtaining
additional information of slave ownership, wills and old family photographs.
