Varnum Genealogy Pubs

In1887, an A. C. Varnum wrote a 195 page book about the Congregational church history in colonial Massachusetts called "Pawtucket and other Congregational Societies, Lowell, Mass.". This book includes many Varnum family memoirs. I have a copy of this book if anyone is interested in particular excerpts.

In 1907, a John M. Varnum wrote a 314 page book of Varnum genealogy "The Varnums of Dracut, Massachusetts", descendants of George W. Varnum, his son Samuel & grandsons Thomas, John & Joseph, & their descendants. This book is available from the Higginson Book Company for $49.50, 1-800-ANCESTRY or 801-531-1790. I also have a copy of this book and will be providing an online database of the family genealogy as time permits. This is the lineage of the "famous" Varnums, which includes a general with George Washington at Valley Forge, who later was a judge in the Midwest; his brother who served as the Speaker of the US House of Representatives and President of the US Senate, as well as sons and nephews who were at Indian trading posts or an Indian Scout at Little Bighorn and Wounded Knee. These people are referenced in many publications below.
